Install and update Deban through Microsoft Store.

Performance note: Live captions run on your PC. On older or lower-spec CPUs, captions may lag behind the conversation or take longer to appear. Deban uses a compatible NVIDIA GPU automatically when available; recording can continue while transcription catches up.

Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any other Mac app. New versions arrive through the in-app updater.

Install on macOS

Open the .dmg and drag Deban to Applications.
On first launch, allow Screen & System Audio Recording. That is how Deban hears the other participants; it does not look at your screen.
Optionally allow the Microphone so your own remarks are recorded.
Tell Deban how people address you, so it knows when a question is yours. The Free plan works right away; AI features come with Standard / Pro, with 3 trial meetings included.

What runs where

On your Mac

audio capture, speech recognition, speaker recognition, the database, recordings, memory

Language model

only the transcript text needed for a judgment, an answer or a summary — never audio

Deban cloud

sign-in, subscription status and update checks; nothing from your meetings

Update

Deban checks for updates on launch and once a day, downloads in the background and offers "Install and Relaunch". Your data lives outside the app bundle and is never touched by an update.
